(Office Building at Redhill)

Air terminal devices from Air Diffusion are supplying conditioned air to a brand new office building at Redhill in the heart of Surrey. Westgate is a 4-storey design and build development by HBG construction Ltd.

Tempered filtered air is supplied from two air handling units located in rooftop plant rooms to four-pipe fan coil units serving individual zones within the building. The fan coil units maintain supply air temperature at a constant 22°C prior to discharge into the room spaces via Air Diffusion Linear Diffusers on the perimeter and Internal Perforated Diffusers mounted in the ceiling.

All the 500 metres of Three-slot Linear Adjustable Diffuser and the 100 Special Diaphragm Perforated Face Diffusers supplied to the Westgate project feature internally lined plenum boxes to combat condensation and to provide an extra degree of acoustic attenuation. Noise from the system is minimal even when the fan coils units are in full operation.
